Last nights show was great! Comedian Ben Herman was my guest host, and the very first
Stand-up Comedian to grace the Mars Café stage. Ben raided his step dad's record
collection and brought in some true gems. We played a record from the Boss for the second
week in a row, as well as some Billy Joel. We also played LP's from Zwan, Papa M, The
White Stripes, Matisyahu(because he's coming to Des Moines w/ 311), The Beatles and Joe
Cocker. I also received a 7" from local band The First Punic War, which we played.

I also had a surprise guest host, when my son Hayden showed up and played Little Richard's
"Tutti Frutti", he came dressed as a Power Ranger...which was kind of weird.

Ben ended the night with some excellent stand up. To see more of his act visit him on
