This Monday wasn’t Josh and Nick Sinclair’s first trip to Scented Vinyl; in fact they were on last March with their band Little Mojo. A year later brings a new name, Hollywood Burnout, a new member, and a new sound. One thing that remains untouched is their great attitude towards their music and the Iowa music community; it’s always a pleasure interviewing these guys.
Little Mojo has been playing around Iowa for the past 10 years, recording a few albums and opening for the likes of Blind Melon, The Bodeans, A Fine Frenzy and more. But after a decade, the brothers were ready for a change; enter Seth Hoveland their new bass player. The record portion of the show was plagued by technical problems, which is not the first or probably last time. We still got to play the Stones album that Josh brought in and a Cindrella 7” from Nick, but the rest of the show was kind of shaky due to a broken needle. Here is what we played…
